Potential Winter Classic 2013 Alumni Game Roster

The NHL has a major announcement tomorrow taking place at Commerica Park in Detroit and also at Michigan Stadium, also known as the Big House. I wonder what it could be about?
Obviously, the Winter Classic is coming to Detroit. The Toronto Maple Leafs are 99.9% the opponent for the January 1st tilt and the game will most definitely sell out and set a record for NHL attendance in one game.
There are a lot of people I know that are planning on going to the actual Winter Classic at the Big House to sit 500 feet away from the action in cramped seats and a blizzard. No thanks, I'll watch at home. The game that I would really want to see is the Alumni Game at Commerica Park.
My selling point is if they got Steve Yzerman to come back and wear the Winged Wheel again. It's a longshot as he's the GM of Tampa Bay, but we can all hope.
Here are some of the palyers I think will grace the ice the day before the Winter Classic.

There's obviously a bunch more, but this is a roster I would pay to go see.

What about Chelios and Shanahan? I don't think it's out of the question at all for Yzerman to play.

Sorry buddy.
Yzerman didn't explain in the statement to The News why he likely won't play in the alumni game. But Yzerman's health could be one of the reasons. He has a history of knee problems.

I'd love to see Vernon and Dom join Ozzy in the net while adding a pairing of Howe and Coffey to the blue line... While I'm at it, why not add Hull and Fedorov to the mix... It's fun to think about. Fedorov likely wouldn't play, Dom is identified as a Sabre and Howe, Coffey, and Hull all had only brief stints in Detroit. Out of the plethora of greats that have come through Detroit, it'll be interesting to see who gets the nod.
While some of the names may not be as flashy, I hope the current Alumni roster gets to be involved. Those guys have done a ton of charity work in the community and I'd hate to see them get snubbed.
Now, let's go steal Wendel Clark from the Leaf's lineup...
